    Easier swabbing of barrel. These are much better to use than patches. I had some build up on a barrel on a .22 rifle that had been given to me…that had not been cleaned after numerous firings…had to brush it/scrubb it(!) with brass after soaking, but these picked up all of the debris and the barrel is now spotless. They are excellent to quickly clean your barrel after firing. They’re quick and easy and I’ll be ordering more.

    Great Product. I can clean the barrel faster, easier and better with a several of these. It took much longer and used a lot more patches before, and the barrel still wasn’t as clean as using these. They are perfectly matched to the size of the barrel, so they clean out the grooves better than a jag.

    I have stopped using the old patch method of cleaning my firearms and now use nothing but Ramrodz. What convinced me to do this was taking a ramrodz swab, putting some gun oil on it and inserting it into the barrel of a pistol that I had already cleaned using the old patch method. The swab came out black and so did a bunch more until they finally came out clean. I tried this on firearms of different caliber and the results were the same. They were all dirty even though I pride myself in doing a good job of cleaning my firearms.

    Patches have their place
    but any range visitor is doing their firearms a disservice not purchasing Ramrodz.
    I’m 64 and started shooting 2 years ago as a hobby I grew up watching war movies and westerns.

    These are not the Q-Tips you stole from the bathroom these are Outstanding, sturdy, very true to size and they fit super tight in the bore. They really spread the solvent and wipe the bore spotless. They are flexible and do not fall apart leaving cotton in all the nooks and crannies.

  • Best cleaners I’ve ever used on my revolver. Very easy to use and less messy. Will never go back to small patches again.

    They are durable, clean well, leave nothing behind and work great. The lengths are perfect. More than enough in the package to keep you in breech cleaners for quite a while. Will order more when these run out.

  • They fit in my breech barrel nicely. I also use for mag well, mags, other open areas where I used to try to wrap patch around my finger trying to just swipe out basic debris.

    These do a nice job on my pistol bores, cleaning up anything left behind by the bore snakes, along with carbon in the frame and mag well. I’ve bought them several times and will continue to use them in the future.
